Or is it too old-fashioned?
Or this the contemporary?
Either way, after a long time, I put on white Butoh makeup and dance with the smoke. It felt great!

Over 35 years ago, when I first encountered Butoh, I loved wearing the white makeup. we use to go Sentou (public bathhouse) with the Butoh group after performances and washed off the white makeup!! Very notalgic.

Yes it is great to return to the ‘original’, with a white makeup.

In the recent ButohBAR I danced Butoh wearing white-makeup.
